Dr. Zafis was recommended
to me by another Chiropractor, who said Cindy was helping her
- a marvelous recommendation. I was having difficulty with shortness
of breath, sometimes so intense that I had to sit down quickly to
avoid falling over. I was weak, lacking in energy, and depressed.
Before seeing Dr. Zafis, I had pulmonary tests and an Echocardiogram.
Both tests were negative, and my M.D. told me to go home and "extend"
myself with an exercise program. In other words, I was supposed to "try
harder."
Suspicious of an
allergic reaction to pollen, Dr. Zafis tested me and found that
it was, indeed, the problem. Within a few days I was no longer grasping
for breath and felt remarkably energized.
In addition, I
have an extensive history of migraine headaches. With Dr. Zafis'
help, I think I am on my way to conquering that problem also.

I am writing to thank you
for helping my daughter, Meghan, overcome her breathing problems.
Meghan is 12 years old and
is a serious soccer player. For over a year, she's been suffering from
what the medical doctor diagnosed as "exercise induced asthma."
Her breathing has gotten progressively worse, particularly when it's
wet and she's running outside. The doctor prescribed a couple of
different kinds of inhalers, but they have not helped. We even tried
an inhaled steroid, which didn't help either.
Rather than asthma, we
began to suspect allergies. Meghan will not tolerate needles, so
the traditional allergy approaches weren't going to be doable. Thanks
to a friend's recommendation, we heard of your treatment and gave it
a try. You diagnosed Meghan with a number of allergies, some of which
you have seen in relation to asthmatic symptoms.
After a handful of treatments,
Meghan really noticed a big difference in her breathing. She
can now participate in P.E. at school - she can even run the mile,
without having trouble breathing. Sure, she's tired, but she's getting
air in her lungs! It really is quite amazing! Soccer starts up again
soon, and we're looking forward to a much more fun and confortable season!
Thank you!
